What Is Microphlebectomy?

Once these nicks are made, a tool is used to manually tease the vein out of the skin.
For your comfort during treatment, a local anesthetic may be utilized. The treatment process is relatively short, and there is no downtime associated with the process. While you should be able to return to most of your normal daily activities, you may be recommended to wear compression stockings.
Results achieved with microphlebectomy will vary for each person. However, the results are often visible immediately and they are intended to be permanent! All nicks made in the skin should fade from visibility within a year.
